About

I am a development consultant with over 15 years of experience in development cooperation, including with the United Nations, the Asian Development Bank, international non-governmental organizations, and European cooperation agencies. My expertise includes social protection systems, labor market and employment, and inclusive economic development in Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and Africa.

I enjoy conducting research and quantitative and qualitative analysis to support informed policy development decisions. The decisions we make, whether as organizations or individuals, are only as good as the data analysis that supports them. My skills include research, policy development, statistical analysis, qualitative methods, and project management. Vulnerable groups I have experience working with include low-income populations, informal and seasonal workers, migrants, persons with disabilities, and ethnic minorities.

As examples of my work, I am proud to have served as a regional focal point for Latin America and the Caribbean on strengthening country capacity, helping to monitor the impact of the COVID-19 crisis and providing recommendations to national governments on how to adapt their social protection systems to support the most vulnerable during the pandemic. I am also honored to have facilitated and drafted the Lao PDR's National Social Protection Strategy Vision 2030, which was followed by further collaboration to improve the participation of informal workers in the voluntary social security system.

I am curious by nature and have a passion for learning. I read voraciously and enjoy exploring a wide range of topics. I practice various sports, yoga and meditation. I love to travel, learn languages and immerse myself in different cultures.
