Raphael Girod has eighteen (18) years of experience in development cooperation - of which six (6) years as an Evaluating & Monitoring professional for European Countries contracted partners. Since starting as external evaluator and health projects coordinator, Raphael Girod has been working with a special focus on Sector Wide Approach (SWAP) and Financial sector. His key qualifications include: institutional capacity building in relation to coordination of health activities - Administration and management of health activities; setting up and implementation of procedures and specific tools developed within the framework of the Health Sector Wide Approach to align inputs from different international donors; financial and organizational audit; and mastery of the project cycle management.

Since 1998, Raphael Girod has gained significant experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation, internal control and financial procedures with a variety of organizations such as: drug purchasing non-governmental organizations, international consulting firms specialized in business outsourcing and Ministries of Health / Public Health. As a pragmatic and experienced monitoring and evaluation practitioner, Raphael Girod has overseas experience in Africa (Sierra Leone- Senegal - Niger Uganda - Burundi – Guinea Conakry – Rwanda – Republic Democratic of Congo - Ivory Coast - Benin – Burkina Faso Swaziland – Cameroon) and to a lesser extend in Asia (Timor Leste- Indonesia-Cambodia–Thailand-India-Afghanistan-Pakistan).
