Knowledge of the management of heath districts and health districts hospitals (Benin and Burundi)

Creation of health infrastructures in hospital environments (National reference centers for physical medicine and rehabilitation in university hospitals of both Cotonou and Bujumbura

Creation of academic university structures (creation of a physiotherapy school at the Faculty of Health Sciences in Cotonou - 2000 – A second physiotherapy school will be built in 2016 in Bujumbura and should open its doors in 2017)

Study and analysis of tools facilitating financial access to health care (performance-based financing, health Insurance card , free cares for children under 5 and pregnant women), in view of gradual introduction of universal health insurance systems

Management of multipartite projects (Benin, Burkina, Burundi, Belgium – project “B4”) based on south-south and north-south competencies transfers in the field of medical rehabilitation

Setting-up of public-private partnerships in the health sector (experience developed in Burundi)
