Project: EU - Ex-post evaluation of the Basket Fund to support the implementation of the Second National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (NSDS2) by the National Institute for Statistics of Rwanda (NISR)- (evaluated period: 2014-2018)
As an economist, with specific focus on macroeconomics indicators( labor statistcs, Integrated Household Living Conditions Survey-EICV- trends and factors in poverty reduction in Rwanda. Worked with the EU Programme Estimate recipients included NISR, RDB, other national statistical system (NSS) stakeholders and Development partners including WB to assessing the EU support towards the production of reliable and policy oriented statistics and investment promotion in Rwanda. Assessed the progress towards WB Statistical Capacity Indicators (SCI) dashboard and the IMF SDDS. Analyze the key evidences related to EU Programme Estimate in producing the reliable statistics including Seasonal Agricultural Survey (SAS), EICV6 and Labor Force Survey to establish the trends in poverty and unemployment reduction.

- Organized and conducted the KI Interviews with the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and National Statistical System (NSS) members (NISR, MINAGRI, RAB, MINCOFIN, MOH, MINEDUC, RURA)

Project: European Union strategic Evaluation of the Evaluation of EU Budget Support to Rwanda (2011-2018).
As an economist, with specific focus on development, labour market analysis, and inequality/poverty mappings. I worked with key stakeholders such as MINECOFIN, NISR, NBR and WB to analyze the key evidences related to poverty conditions in Rwanda: Poverty profile in Rwanda, Integrated Household Living Conditions Survey (or Enquête Intégrale sur les Conditions de Vie des ménages, EICV) and Labor force survey(LFS). Analyzed macroeconimic indicators related to poverty reduction policy responses including extreme poverty, unemployment, inequality - Gini coefficients - urban/rural, infilation, consumers proce index Literacy rates, gender of household head, Youth in extreme poverty, to better understand the underlying causes of worsened situation in terms of poverty, and on that basis come up with policy response.
