About
A Development Specialist with expertise in Programme Management, Planning and Design, Multi-sectoral Coordination, Research, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning. Special skills in proposal development, operation of Basket funding mechanisms, programme led funding, report writing, capacity building and mentorship. I have 11 Years of experience in Development work with special focus on Governance and Elections, Civil and political rights, Social Protection, Public Policy Analysis, Sustainable Livelihoods, Child Rights Programming, Gender, Development Aid, HIV and AIDs, Health Systems Strengthening and Rights-Based Programming Approaches. I have 5 years solid experience working with Local and International Civil Society Organisations. In addition, I have 6 years experience working directly in national programmes jointly implemented by Government, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Global Fund and have experience in the design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of United Nations Development Assistance Frameworks (UNDAF). I have 2 years experience in University Lecturing at the University of Zimbabwe (2001 – 2002) and the Women’s University in Africa (2003). Strong knowledge of data management information systems (MIS) packages like SPSS, EPI-INFO, Dhis2, ACCESS databases and Spreadsheets. Technical and problem solving abilities are excellent with a firm belief in working under minimal supervision and trusted to deliver the best results with minimal resources. More importantly, I am a Team player; self convinced Human Rights Defender and have great passion for work that brings positive changes in lives of people suffering economic, social and political exclusion.
