Susana is an accomplished environmental engineer holding a master's degree in Environment and Sustainability, with over 25 years of international consulting experience. A native Portuguese speaker, she specializes in environmental management, with a strong focus on Project Management, Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and resettlement initiatives.

Throughout her career, Susana has successfully managed a diverse portfolio of over 50+ projects, primarily concentrated in Portuguese-speaking countries. Since 2012, she has been deeply involved in the environmental landscape of Mozambique, overseeing critical projects such as the EIAs for SASOL Pande and Temane Blocks and the management of an industrial waste site in Tete.

Susana's expertise extends across various domains, ranging from project management to addressing physical and social environmental challenges. Her work encompasses aspects of health, safety, social/resettlement considerations, as well as capacity building for constructors and operators. Notably, she excels in bridging the gap between construction phases and operational requirements, ensuring seamless implementation of monitoring programs for major capital infrastructure projects.
