With all pleasure I would like to share my CV and introduce myself. I have been working about 20 years mostly in post-conflict and conflict states with United Nations Organizations in international assignments leading multidisciplinary teams of hundreds staff of multicultural background. I was involved in formulation, planning and implementation of complex emergency restoration and development projects at country-scale. I also managed projects (including remote management) of hundreds-million US Dollars in small to large infrastructure projects for government and public-sector beneficiaries. Worked with United Nations since 1996, leading over 10 years projects of multidisciplinary teams of 100s national and international staff singke and multi-donor funded; recognized history of effective, on-site and remote management /cross-border operations. Excels in challenging and arduous conditions of post conflict and conflict states..

I have Masters in Development Studies and BSc in Civil Engineering. My cultural and professional links are specific with the Middle East and Central Asia, worked in countries like Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Iraq, Jordan and Yemen (in alphabetic order). I can speak English, Arabic and Spanish. 

I also have demonstrated achievements with UN organizations like FAO and UNDP in resilience building and livelihood saving in acute and prolonged crises. Interacted with key donors like WB, ADB, USAID, EU, CIDA, SIDA, and AusAID, also with government ministries, private sector, Nat/INGOs and community-based organizations.

My last 12 years of service was mostly with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) as Team Leader and Chief Technical Advisor, extensively involved in the Water Sector restructuring, institutional and capacity development, projects planning and implementation to support the national food security in coordination and collaboration with line authorities, donors and stakeholders. In most occasions I was in the front line playing key roles interacting and negotiating with multiple donors and senior government officials.

I'm experienced in various technical subjects; water resources management and development, feasibility studies, dam planning and operation & maintenance, irrigation restoration and improvement (canals and pressurised systems), flood control and mitigation, water harvesting and food security support schemes.

In addition to experience in countrywide strategic emergency planning, development and management. I have performed Technical Assistance and community-based participatory Project Cycle Management supported by capacity building, project supervision, institutional strengthening for government professionals at ministerial and provincial levels, planned and managed related procurement, human resources, logistics and resource mobilization.
