Duties and responsibilities: Overseeing and coordinating all aspects of research undertakings of the organization at central level (national) and supporting M&E team

Achievements: I have successfully organized the undertaking of the following researches of the organization (from protocol development-Securing IRB consent-Conducting the study (from recruiting and training of data collectors and supervisors to organizing data collection process)-writing technical reports and policy briefs to developing manuscripts). All the studies were conducted in collaboration with FMOH, regional Health Bureaus and professional associations in order to build their local research capacities.

Assessment of Strengthening Human Resources for Health project contributions to TB, HIV, Malaria, Family Planning and Maternal and Child health Services outcomes

In addition, I have successfully selected, recruited and over sought local consultancy firms for some of the studies of the organization such as a study on “Job Satisfaction and Factors Affecting Health Worker Retention in Ethiopia’s Public Health Sector”.

Besides, I have represented the organization in meetings and workshops with donors and partners, supported monitoring and evaluation team of the organization. I am the first person to be delegated as team leader in the absence of the team leader.
