• 20 years of international experience managing projects in developing countries - Ghana, Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, South Sudan, Zambia, Afghanistan, and Eastern Caribbean States.
• Technical and advisory roles on projects focused on education in conflict-affected and fragile states, strengthening effective governance systems for education, youth workforce development in contexts affected by crime and violence, grants management, evaluation, and public and private partnerships that address private sector workforce needs.
• Experience working for, with and across multiple donors that include USAID, UNICEF, World Bank, the Multi-donor Trust Fund, and MCC. Experience working with government ministries, private sector, Chamber of Commerce, civil society organizations and private foundations.
• Results-driven technical and operational manager with COP experience. Experience managing large team of 30 staff spread across different geographic regions. Effective at virtual management, team coordination, donor coordination and reporting.
• PhD in Education Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota.
• Currently serves as the market linkages team leader for the Workforce Development Program in Djibouti. Key responsibility is building public and private partnerships to support demand-driven workforce development approaches for unemployed youth (including young entrepreneurs) in Djibouti.
• Worked with AED, AIR, Creative Associates International. Currently working for Cardno Emerging Markets.
