I have been working in the construction industry, facilities and building maintenance industry for more than 14 years which ranges from small to large scale works. My assignments with UNDP Philippines, IOM Micronesia & United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti - MINUSTAH (DPKO) has exposed me to different facets in the engineering field. This includes serving as a Regional Engineer (Quality Assurance for Roads Projects), Reconstruction Field Engineer (TMRP), Field Engineering Officer & Construction Supervisor handling both technical office & site works. I was responsible for all new construction & maintenance of the facilities, contingent camps, community facilities (e.g. the dispensary, municipal halls) & projects for the Government.

I have over 13 years of experience as a Civil Engineer ranging from project monitoring & assessing, land development, housing, facilities maintenance, & medium to large scale constructions. I have expertise in project supervision, inspection & monitoring. In addition, I have successfully coordinated works with counterparts from other sections, consultants, clients & Government representatives.

I always work professionally. I have good knowledge and experience in construction projects and building maintenance implementation. I demonstrate good technical skills, problem-solving and planning skills to anticipate the next steps. I can work under pressure, minimum supervision and cope with deadlines. I always try to work hard and show pride in my work and achievements. I am mostly calm and persistent when facing problems and challenges. My organizational and multitasking abilities are excellent.

Due to my previous experiences especially in a multinational organization/company, I have developed a very good interpersonal and communication skill. I always listen to both sides of the story and analyze before giving decisions/opinions. I respect differences in gender, religion, and culture. I can work with a team. I listen to suggestions and comments. I always give assistance to my colleagues, share credit for the team and accept joint responsibility for shortcomings. I also can communicate well with clients and establish a good relationship in order to have a good working environment as the project progresses.

I am open to learning new things. I always seek to develop myself professionally and personally. I accept comments, feedback, and criticisms in order for me to learn and improve. I have excellent computer skills and I am open to learning new technologies.
