Small molecule High Throughput Screen using AstraZeneca facilities

Objectives: The grant aims to fund academic researchers to conduct High Throughput Screening (HTS) using AstraZeneca’s facilities, focusing on utilizing their extensive compound library to discover potential small molecule medicinal drugs. With up to £270,000 available per project, the grant seeks to support the development and optimization of assays related to fibrosis, extracellular matrix targets, as well as other areas such as autoimmunity, pain, dementias, and women’s health. The grant encourages interdisciplinary collaboration to generate new knowledge and foster advancements in therapeutic development, with a particular emphasis on supporting researchers through mentorship and career development opportunities.
