Description:

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Senegal is seeking comments only on the draft concept for its anticipated USAID/Senegal Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Activity. The objective of the YALI Activity is to establish a high-quality, context-specific leadership training that will be managed by a locally-led entity to empower francophone African youth to lead the economic, political, and social development of their countries and the African continent.

This USAID/Senegal RFI is issued to offer the opportunity for interested Higher Education Institutions in Senegal to provide information, opinions, and recommendations on approaches for the implementation of the YALI activity and to solicit capability statements.

L’Agence des États-Unis pour le développement international (USAID) au Sénégal sollicite des commentaires concernant une ébauche de concept pour une activité intitulée USAID/Sénégal Jeunes Leaders Africains (YALI). Cette activité a pour but de mettre en place une formation au leadership de haute qualité, adaptée au contexte africain, et pilotée par une organisation locale pour permettre aux jeunes Africains francophones de jouer un rôle de premier plan dans le développement économique, politique et social de leurs pays et du continent.

Le présent appel à information (RFI) de l’USAID/Sénégal est émise pour donner l’opportunité aux institutions d’enseignement supérieur intéressées au Sénégal de fournir des informations et de formuler des avis et recommandations concernant des approches pertinentes de mise en œuvre de l’activité YALI, mais également pour solliciter de leur part des déclarations de capacité.
