Topic description
Expected Outcome:Both in Member States and candidate countries: - Stronger contribution by workers' organisations to the overarching challenges facing European employment and social policy within the context of European Union initiatives to address the consequences of the economic crisis, as well as in the context of increasing involvement of social partners in the European Semester process, and in the context of the European Pillar of Social Rights; - Improved skills for workers' representatives for participation in European social dialogue, better understanding of issues discussed in European social dialogue, sharing of ideas/experience on European social dialogue as well as improving the capacity of workers' organisations.
Objective:Actions are expected to contribute to the priorities and activities of European social dialogue, including those laid down in the work programmes of the EU cross-industry and sectoral social dialogue committees. In that context, particular emphasis is put on strengthening collective bargaining and the involvement of social partners in the European Semester and enhancing their contribution to EU policy making.
The call relates to Principle 8 of the European Pillar of Social Rights “Social dialogue and involvement of workers”, particularly its paragraph (b) “Workers or their representatives have the right to be informed and consulted in good time on matters relevant to them, in particular on the transfer, restructuring and merger of undertakings and on collective redundancies”.

At proposal submission, the lead applicant will have to confirm that it has the mandate to act for all applicants; that the information in the application is correct and complete and that the participants comply with the conditions for receiving EU funding (especially eligibility, financial and operational capacity, exclusion, etc.) Before signing the grant, each beneficiary and affiliated entity will have to confirm this again by signing a declaration of honour (DoH).
Applications must be readable, accessible and printable, not exceeding [70] pages.
