Electricity, Gas, Smart Grids, Hydrogen and CO₂ networks - Studies

Objectives: The objective of this call is to support and contribute to the implementation of Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) and Projects of Mutual Interest (PMIs) within the framework of trans-European networks in the energy sector. The call aims to finance studies necessary for the preparation of PCIs or PMIs, covering activities such as preparatory, mapping, feasibility studies, and any other required technical support measures. Supported projects are expected to have significant socio-economic benefits, especially those that promote energy efficiency, decarbonisation, security of supply, and integration of an efficient energy market as outlined in the European Green Deal and related EU policies, while also ensuring solidarity among Member States where market finances are inadequate.
