Re-inhabiting the South for local development and regeneration

Objectives: The call for proposals "Re-inhabiting the South" by Fondazione con il Sud aims to initiate demographic regeneration and social revitalization processes in Southern Italy, particularly in areas experiencing depopulation and isolation. With a budget of 8 million euros, the initiative seeks proposals that will create regenerative and independent paths led by local communities, emphasizing the vital role of third-sector entities. The key areas of focus include enhancement of common assets, valorisation of environmental resources, activation of sustainable mobility services, innovation of social welfare services, development of social entrepreneurship, support for educational communities, digitalization, and sustainable tourism services.
