Selection of partners to carry out EUROPE DIRECT activities

Objectives: The main objective of the grant is to establish Europe Direct centers across Estonia for the period 2026-2030. These centers serve to bring the European Union closer to its citizens by providing information, fostering dialogue, and engaging with communities at the local level. The centers will deliver updated information on EU policies, listen to citizen concerns, contribute to European civic education, and help shape the European public sphere.The project aims to set up at least one center in each of the following regions: Northeast Estonia (Lääne-Viru and Ida-Viru counties), Central Estonia (Rapla, Järva, Jõgeva, and Tartu counties), Southern Estonia (Viljandi, Põlva, Võru, and Valga counties), Western Estonia (Pärnu and Lääne counties), and the islands of Saaremaa and Hiiumaa. The activities include organizing outreach events, participating in local events, engaging in media campaigns, and fostering cooperation with local EU offices and networks. Financial support will be awarded contingent upon the submission of an annual communication plan.
