Objectives: The grant, titled 'National Contact Points (NCPs) in the field of security and cybersecurity fostering the links with National Community building for Safe, Secure and Resilient Societies,' aims to improve the efficiency and professionalism of NCP services across Europe, thereby enhancing access to Horizon Europe calls and improving proposal quality. It seeks to harmonize and enhance trans-national cooperation between NCPs and support national communities in security research and innovation, incorporating inputs from practitioners and industrial partners, and aligning with EU initiatives like CERIS. Moreover, it focuses on facilitating national input into EU security research programming, improving awareness of EU funding opportunities, promoting the uptake of innovations, and fostering collaboration among national communities to reduce geographical fragmentation in civil security research and innovation.
