Supporting regional and local authorities in developing their Action Plans towards climate resilience

Objectives: This grant aims to support regional and local authorities in the European Union in developing and implementing Action Plans for climate adaptation. The desired outcome is to enhance climate resilience across at least 70 regions by ensuring that their Action Plans translate into concrete steps and actions, accompanied by clear strategies for funding and implementation. The grant will mobilize various sectors including government, academia, and civil society to contribute to local adaptation needs, advancing knowledge and preparedness against climate impacts as part of the European Green Deal and the EU's climate adaptation mission.
