Interregional Innovation Investments Strand 1

Objectives: The Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) Instrument Strand 1 aims at enhancing the competitiveness and resilience of EU value chains by providing financial and advisory support for interregional innovation investments. This initiative supports consortia from diverse innovation ecosystems bridging the innovation divide across Europe, integrating less developed regions into the European value chains. The call seeks to bolster the development of new or existing interregional and cross-border value chains, facilitate collaboration between SMEs from less developed and more developed regions, and identify new technological domains and market opportunities, thereby overcoming market failures within innovation ecosystems.
