Interregional Innovation Investments Strand 2a

Objectives: The Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) Instrument Strand 2a aims to accelerate the integration of less developed and transition regions into European value chains. This call for proposals focuses on offering consortia of innovation actors financial and advisory support to advance their innovations to a maturity level that is ready for scale-up and commercialisation. Key objectives include reducing the innovation divide in Europe, identifying new technological domains aligning with EU priorities, creating and integrating new interregional and cross-border value chains, deploying innovative solutions in less developed regions, and fostering collaboration among SMEs across varied regions. With an emphasis on technology transfer and advisory support, the initiative seeks to ensure participation from regions with different development levels.
