Strengthening Child Protection Intervention in Rakhine State

Objectives: This project aims to strengthen child protection in Rakhine State by establishing community-based child protection systems in rural and conflict-affected areas. Key activities include community-based awareness sessions, creating child-friendly spaces, providing psychosocial support and services including for disabled children, adolescent programs, explosive ordnance risk education, gender-based violence training, case management and referral services, staff development and capacity enhancement, and mechanisms for preventing sexual exploitation and abuse. This initiative intends to enhance capacity for specialized child protection services to address violence, exploitation, abuse, neglect, and harmful practices against children and adolescents.
