Programa Ayana´ajirawaa (trabajo Colectivo) Ii, en el Departamento de la Guajira

Objectives: The Ayana´ajirawaa II program aims to provide sustainable, resilient access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in rural communities and schools in the La Guajira department, Colombia. Emphasizing the elimination of open defecation, it seeks to strengthen local capacities through strategic community involvement, infrastructure development, and innovative practices. The program targets vulnerable populations, with a focus on indigenous groups and children, to foster safer, healthier environments resilient to climate change. Key outcomes include improved WASH access for over 20,000 children and families, engagement in decision-making, and capacity-building for local authorities and communities.
