Counter ISIS Ideologies in Returnee Populations from Northeast Syria

Objectives: The grant titled 'Counter ISIS Ideologies in Returnee Populations from Northeast Syria' aims to address the reemergence of ISIS ideologies among individuals returning to Iraq from northeast Syria. Particularly, it targets those passing through the Al Amal Rehabilitation Center. The primary objectives are to develop and enhance skills among Al Amal staff, service providers, and Iraqi government personnel to effectively identify, prevent, and counter these ideologies among returnees. It's intended to curb the spread of violent extremist ideologies and strengthen the capacity of communities and individuals to counter radicalization and terrorism by December 2027 through targeted interventions and strategies.
