Tajikistan: Early Detection and Response Pilot

Objectives: The Tajikistan Early Detection and Response Pilot aims to strengthen counter-terrorism efforts in Tajikistan, a crucial nexus in Central Asia targeted by ISIS-K for recruitment and cross-border activities. The project develops early detection strategies to aid at-risk communities in recognizing and responding to illicit activities, focusing on frontier areas. By enhancing Tajikistan's capability to detect and respond to terrorist activity from its source, the initiative seeks to protect the region and U.S. security, fostering bilateral and multilateral cooperation for effective counter-terrorism responses.
