Objectives: The objective of the "Support for the regulatory framework governing organic agriculture and labeling" project is to strengthen the alignment of Algeria's regulatory framework for organic agriculture and labeling with European standards. The project has a budget of €1,000,000 and will span over 24 months, aiming to enhance the national labeling system by developing regulatory frameworks and institutional mechanisms for organic agriculture. The initiative also aims to support the creation of institutional capacities in certification and labeling, benefiting public administrations and mandated bodies across the EU.
