Project title Lot 1: Strengthening the resilience and social reintegration of conflict affected children and women including those exiting armed groups and survivors of gender-based violence in BAY States

Objectives: This grant aims to reinforce the resilience and facilitate the social reintegration of children and women severely affected by conflict in the BAY States of Nigeria. It focuses on providing comprehensive socio-economic reintegration services for individuals exiting armed groups and survivors of gender-based violence. The objectives include scaled-up engagement with community-based child protection mechanisms, providing tailored reintegration services addressing mental health, educational support, vocational training, and referrals for specialized services. The initiative emphasizes prevention and response at a community level to support children and women leaving military custody, promoting reintegration and capacity building within partner organizations to better facilitate these processes.
