FY 2026 International Visitor Leadership Program’s National Program Agencies

Objectives: The primary objective of the FY 2026 International Visitor Leadership Program’s National Program Agencies (IVLP) is to support the staff expenses and overhead costs related to the administration of the IVLP. This program fosters mutual understanding and strengthening of relations between people in the U.S. and international leaders from government, business, academia, and other fields. Through custom-designed short-term projects, the initiative promotes U.S. foreign policy goals by facilitating professional and cultural exchanges. The expected outcomes include the advancement of U.S. national security priorities, while simultaneously creating enduring relationships with global leaders. The IVLP incorporates tailored visits to the U.S. for these leaders, focusing on their professional interests and supporting bilateral interactions which encourage dialogue on shared policies and objectives.
