Strengthening the parenting education program through ECD centers: Transforming Gender Norms through Edutainment and Men Engagement

Objectives: The project titled 'Strengthening the parenting education program through ECD centers: Transforming Gender Norms through Edutainment and Men Engagement' aims to enhance parenting knowledge, attitudes, and practices in Rwanda with a focus on positive parenting and gender transformative approaches. This initiative targets child development and family support across the Ngororero, Nyabihu, Rubavu, Gicumbi, and Kirehe Districts in Rwanda. The key objectives include equipping 50 ECD centers with digital tools, establishing 50 listening clubs for parents and caregivers, improving digital literacy for ECD caregivers and parents, and promoting male engagement in parenting roles. The expected outcomes of the initiative include increased involvement of fathers in caregiving, improved child development metrics, and the establishment of gender transformative parenting hubs.
