Active Citizenship Labs (ACL) - Round 2

Objectives: The ACL Replication Initiative aims to fortify the capabilities of Lebanon-based civil society organizations (CSOs) working with Syrian communities to design and implement community-driven civic engagement initiatives focused on local governance. Another key objective is to empower Syrians living in Lebanon, especially those considering returning to Syria, by enhancing their leadership abilities to foster civic engagement and aid the development of inclusive Local Administrative Councils in Syria. Moreover, the initiative seeks to enhance social cohesion, promote gender inclusion in governance, and support sustainable and crisis-responsive civic initiatives.
