Call for Expression of Interest (CEI) -Amplifying Digital Opportunities for Cross-Border Trade (CBT LR)

Objectives: The present Call for Expression of Interest (CEOI) aims to identify a national non-governmental organization (NGO) that will contribute to the implementation of the ADO-CBT program at the community level in the border districts of Rwanda. The focus is on (i) capacity-building for small-scale cross-border traders (SSCBTs); (ii) providing general economic, financial, and cooperative management support to SSCBTs and CBT Cooperatives; and (iii) providing direct social, psycho-social, and protection support for SSCBTs, with an emphasis on empowering the most vulnerable, including youth. The project seeks to leverage digital technology to connect SSCBTs with resources, new markets, and services, thus enhancing their competitiveness, resilience, and inclusion in the formal economy.
