2026 Open Call for the Implementation of General Food Assistance, Nutrition, Digital and Financial Inclusion, Resilience and Self-Reliance in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement and Hosting District

Objectives: The objectives of this grant are to provide unconditional food assistance to growing refugee populations in Uganda who have been strained by conflicts in neighbouring countries. This assistance will be based on comprehensive analyses of needs, vulnerabilities, and diversity. Besides immediate food aid, the grant aims to build resilience, self-reliance, and establish protection and safety nets to minimize food insecurity among these populations. The ultimate goal is to transition from relief to resilience, enabling sustainable food access and healthy dietary consumption for crisis-affected individuals, supporting both short-term food security and long-term development outcomes in alignment with WFP's Strategic Outcomes.
