Intervention Humanitaire par Transferts Monétaires (Humanitarian Cash Transfer – HCT) Nord et Extreme Nord

Objectives: The Humanitarian Cash Transfer (HCT) initiative in the North and Far North regions of Cameroon aims to address the severe impact of violence, natural disasters exacerbated by climate change, and public health emergencies on vulnerable populations, especially children. This multi-year project, led by UNICEF, seeks to deliver timely and integrated monetary assistance to sustain the livelihoods of affected populations. Key objectives include speeding up aid to households with children, promoting equitable service access, restoring dignity, and enhancing resilience against future shocks. The cash transfers aim to fulfill immediate basic needs, empower families with choice, and support local economies.
