Overview:

Call for project proposals within the Fast Track Challenge Program for innovative, green and sustainable ideas for Chisinau

The UNDP-GEF Project “Moldova Sustainable Green Cities” is launching a Call for proposals within the Fast Track Challenge Program, for innovative, green and sustainable ideas.

The objective of the project is to catalyse investments in low carbon green urban development based on integrated urban planning approach by encouraging innovation, participatory planning and partnerships between a variety of public and private sector entities.

In accordance with this objective, Fast Track Challenge Program aims to provide financial support (up to 8,000 USD) for new and innovative complementary solutions contributing to low carbon green city development and which can be brought to implementation quickly and at modest costs.

The thematic areas covered by this program within Chisinau city are:

  1. Urban mobility (integrated solutions, apps for efficient transport, cycling, and pedestrians)
  2. Waste management (should be considered activities related to the collection and recycling processes; e.g. PET, plastic, rubber, hazardous waste, textile, etc.)
  3. Energy efficiency measures related to building envelope insulation, street, and interior lighting, hot water preparation, smart metering and renewables (photovoltaics, eolian, geothermal, etc.)
  4. Sustainable urban planning (friendly solutions for citizens comfort and wellbeing)  

The eligible applicants within the Fast Track Challenge Program shall have a legal profit-making entity registered on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

The project proposals will be developed following the Application Guide.

Apel al propunerilor de proiecte în cadrul Programului Fast Track Challenge pentru idei inovative, ecologice și durabile pentru oraşul Chişinău

Proiectul PNUD-GEF „Orașe Verzi Durabile pentru Moldova” lansează apelul propunerilor de proiecte în cadrul Programului Fast Track Challenge pentru idei inovative, ecologice și durabile.

Obiectivul proiectului este de a cataliza investițiile în dezvoltarea urbană verde cu un nivel redus de emisii de carbon în baza unei abordări integrate de planificare urbană prin încurajarea inovațiilor, planificării participative și a parteneriatelor dintre sectorul public şi privat.

În cadrul Programului Fast Track Challenge va fi oferit sprijin financiar (în sumă maximă de 8.000 de dolari SUA) pentru idei de proiecte ce prezintă soluții noi și/sau inovative ce contribuie la dezvoltarea unui oraș verde cu nivel redus de emisii de carbon care pot fi realizate rapid și cu costuri modeste.

Domeniile tematice acoperite de acest program destinate razei oraşului Chișinău sunt:

  1. Mobilitatea urbană (soluții smart pentru transport, ciclism și pietoni)
  2. Gestionarea deșeurilor (vor fi considerate activitățile legate de procesele de colectare și reciclare, de ex., PET, a plasticului, cauciucului, deșeurilor periculoase, etc.)
  3. Măsuri de eficiență energetică în clădiri, iluminarea străzilor și a interiorului clădirilor, promovarea contorizării inteligente a consumului de energie și a valorificării energiei regenerabile (fotovoltaică, solară termică, eoliană,  geotermală, etc.)
  4. Planificarea urbană durabilă (soluții de planificare urbană, menite să sporească confortul și bunăstarea cetățenilor)  

Solicitanții eligibili la Programul Fast Track Challenge sunt entitățile juridice generatoare de profit înregistrate pe teritoriul Republicii Moldova.
