The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is a federal government agency that promotes and demonstrates democratic values in order to create a free, peaceful and prosperous world. USAID's Bureau for Global Health has issued a business forecast entitled “NPI GH COVID-19 Round: Cooperative Agreement” the goal of which is to support initiatives that build on and expand USAID's efforts to leverage communities' involvement in enhancing and adapting existing community health platforms to back national policies and implementation plans for COVID-19 preparedness and response (non-pharmaceutical interventions) and the continuousness of existing primary healthcare services based on national norms and needs/priorities in order to build long-term structures for future response. The anticipated solicitation release date is August 10, 2020. The anticipated award date is September 25, 2021.
