Governance for Solutions (GfS): Cooperative Agreement

USAID is the world's leading international development organization and a catalyst for development outcomes. The work of USAID supports U.S. national security and economic development, showcases American generosity and encourages beneficiary self-reliance and resilience. USAID Malawi has issued the business forecast, “Governance for Solutions (GfS): Cooperative Agreement”, the goal of which is to recognize, learn from and expand on successful approaches to enhancing the quality and accessibility of public services in specific areas. The goals of this activity are to: a) Establish stakeholder coalitions: identify stakeholder coalitions committed to finding a solution to specific issues in their district, institution or community. b) Study problems: problem building, deconstruction and problem-driven sequencing. c) Obtain buy-in to examine solutions: create consensus among stakeholders to adopt new techniques. d) Examine and adapt solutions: test and adapt procedures that help local governments and citizens to solve problems. e) Create diffusion opportunities: facilitate the spread of these practices to other areas based on the observable and scalable advantages they provide to those able to adopt them. The anticipated solicitation release date is August 16, 2021. The anticipated award date is December 31, 2021.
