Description

Horizon Europe, the funding program of the European Union that creates jobs, engages the EU's talent pool, and contributes to economic growth, calls for clean and competitive solutions for all transport modes with the program, “New generation of full electric urban and peri-urban Bus Rapid Transit systems to strengthen climate-friendly mass transport (2ZERO)”. The intended results of the program include: Division of next-gen efficient public transportation system concepts that involve the use of electric buses (M3[1]) via e-BRT. Present integrated e-BRT systems that are efficient, economically feasible and flexible within current mass transportation networks (all modes) and with personal mobility solutions (walk, bike, powered two-wheelers, cars, etc.) Devise new, built-in infrastructure solutions featuring a mix of charging, bus stops and dedicated bus lanes for both urban and peri-urban road networks. The planned opening date is December 2, 2021. The deadline is April 26, 2022, 17:00:00 Brussels time.
