The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is a US federal government agency the major purpose of which is to monitor civilian international aid to help people to improve their lives, recover from disasters or live in a free and democratic society. USAID Ethiopia has issued the grant notice, “720-663-21-RFI-00008 USAID Climate Resilient Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (Climate Resilient Wash) Agency for International Development Ethiopia USAID-Addis Ababa”, the goal of which is to obtain public feedback on the accompanying draft concept for the Climate Resilient Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (CR WASH) activity which will be a five-year project with a total budget of $30-$40 million, depending on funding availability. The current Request for Proposals is a preliminary request for expressions of interest in a prospective action to assist faster access to an inclusive and resilient water supply, sanitation and hygiene services in Ethiopia's lowlands. The current closing date for applications is August 16, 2021, at 16:00 Addis Ababa time.
