Join IPPF at a critical time to achieve SRHR and gender equality for all. IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a worldwide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.

Responsible for the smooth collaboration and coordination of the ‘Movement Accelerator’, a group of three IPPF centres of excellence on social mobilisation, winning narratives and countering opposition, the Movement Accelerator Advocacy Coordinator facilitates operational coherence and a synergic approach that enables learning and an efficient grant system for national initiatives.  This is an opportunity to embrace the complexity of IPPF and to operate in a decentralised, flexible, multi-actor model of action that ensures that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

As part of an international team of passionate SRHR advocates determined to achieve the IPPF Advocacy Common Agenda, you will coordinate and provide support to this advocacy platform, with a focus on knowledge management, grant management and communication.

Educated at graduate level or with equivalent experience, you have experience on working with social movements or activist platform, preferably internationally and have national advocacy experience based in a low- or middle-income country. You have knowledge of human rights, gender equality and have a deep commitment with social justice, sexual and reproductive health and rights and all kinds of diversity. You have also highly developed skills on grant management, including monitoring and are financially literate. Outstanding oral and written English is essential and other languages are a distinctive advantage.

CVs will not be accepted.  For further information and an application form, download the documents below or email jobs@ippf.org Application form available in Large Print, Audio or Braille. We regret only shortlisted candidates will be acknowledged.

Closing date: 25 August 2021, 23:59

Interviews: remotely – online

Applications are particularly welcome from candidates openly living with HIV/AIDS. IPPF is committed to equal opportunities and cultural diversity. Candidates from all sections of the community are welcome to apply.

Note that this position can be located in one of IPPF’s Secretariat Regional Offices (London, Brussels, Kuala Lumpur, Nairobi, New Delhi or Tunis). Before offering the job to you, we will require proof that you have permission to work in one of the IPPF Secretariat Office locations listed above. This requirement will apply to all applicants irrespective of their nationality.

IPPF is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We expect candidates to support bodily autonomy and women’s rights to choose safe abortion.
