Key Expert on Business Environment and Private Sector Development

Description

International Development Ireland (IDI) will hire Key Expert on Business Environment and Private Sector Development for an EU-funded project titled “Technical Assistance in support of the State and Resilience Building” in Gambia. We are looking for candidates who are eligible with all the criteria below.

Qualifications and skills

- Postgraduate qualification in business, or finance, or economics, or law, or related field - Fluent in English (C1)
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint

General professional experience:

- A minimum of 10 years work experience in the business sector
- Experience in interacting effectively with senior officials in government, the business community, civil society, and the general public

- Experience in working in teams

Specific professional experience:

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in investment facilitation, or business climate/ environment development, or private sector development, or trade related assistance, or another related field

- Experience in working in developing countries

- Deep understanding of investment climate challenges and experience working to address them
