Are you ready to work with a growing Syrian consultancy specializing in Monitoring & Evaluation and Capacity Building?

Are you happy to work remotely and excited to join an international team from all over the world?

Trust Consultancy and Development is looking for remote interns to contribute to its monitoring, evaluation, and capacity building activities in international development and humanitarian aid in the MENA region. This internship is for four (4) months with possible 2 months extension (full time/ part time) starting from January 2022.

Trust Consultancy and Development is an independent Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and Capacity Development consulting firm based in Gaziantep, Turkey. Founded in 2016, Trust is now a well-established leading provider of third-party monitoring (TPM), evaluations, verification, capacity building, and data collection services for development and humanitarian programming in Syria and the surrounding MENA region. To date, Trust has conducted more than 200 projects, for clients including GIZ, Expertise France, Relief International, Mercy Corps, Care International, World Vision, Save the Children, IMC, CARE, Women for Women, UNFPA, UNDP, and other international and regional non-governmental organizations (NGOs), businesses, and donors. Description of position:

Trust Consultancy is currently looking for an interns who are interested in expanding their knowledge and experience in the fields of Human resources in consultancies and words related to the humanitarian/ development sectors

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for Recruitment (support head of units with TORs drafting, Advertising, Shortlisting, and interviewing candidates) in line with Trust Recruitment policy

Keep an up-to-date HR personnel file for all staff team

Manage team’s contracts insuring that everyone has a valid contract / TOR

Track staff leave’s and manage their leave balance

Support trust management in internal meeting’s organization and management

Follow up with head of units to review the implementation of HR policies and make sure that policies are Obaid and followed up by staff.

Plan and manage the new hire’s orientation, making sure that all concerned departments are represented in onboarding plan, and needed onboarding documents are presented and signed.

Act as complaint / PSEA focal point for trust management

Act as trust’s Employee relations focal point and report to trust management accordingly

Desirable requirements

Bachelor degree in relevant field of education

At least 2 years professional experience preferably in a relevant field of experience

Ability to speak and write English fluently

MS Office fluency especially in Excel

Experience/ability of building staff capacity and to facilitate/deliver engaging training sessions

Excellent personal organizational skills, including time management, and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
