The Key expert 2 - Fisheries Sector Expert

Qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in food engineering/ aquacultural engineering/ fisheries technology engineering. In absence of bachelor's degree in above mentioned fields, university degree in any other field will be accepted together with 10 years of working experience in fish and seafood processing sector
  • A post-graduate degree will be an asset in the above fields
  • Very good command of English (speaking, reading and writing)

General Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years up to 25 years of general professional experience following the attainment of a bachelor's degree

Specific Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in food processing sector
  • Shall have at least one international/ national certificate in the fields of food safety, quality management, supply chain in seafood/ fisheries/ aquaculture sector (e.g. Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM)/ Certified Professional - Food Safety (CP-FS) Credential/ Certified Quality Management Professional Training (BMC)/ Certified Quality Manager (IQS)/ Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP))
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in fish/seafood processing sector (e.g. saJting, smoking, drying, canning, cold storing, curing, dehydration, pickling)
