Why your role matters

How you will help

You will design, run and manage digital fundraising campaigns for a wide variety of NGO clients worldwide. Working closely and directly with our NGO partners you will develop efficient fundraising strategies and launch and manage campaigns for and on behalf of NGOs.

You will be supported by a Marketing analyst, providing data and insight into the performance of your online campaigns. Landing pages and designs will be created by our in-house website and graphic designer.

Ultimately, you are responsible for raising significant funds for our NGOs partners, empowering them to do good BETTER.

What are your responsibilities?

Develop the right fundraising strategy: Understand the clients donor persona and funding needs and develop a clear and actionable digital fundraising campaign, setting SMART targets and metrics to measure progress.
Develop, execute and manage multi-channel campaigns. Key channels include mail, petitions, social media, SMS, digital ads, click-to-call, peer-to-peer texting, website content marketing, crowdfunding and other fundraising channels. Topics include the entire spectrum of MzN clients, including environmental, justice, humanitarian, rights-based and poverty-beating issues.
Co-develop content with the clients programme and other fundraising staff and MzN technical consultants around the world.

Requirements:

Motivation and drive are key!
A minimum of five years professional experience in digital fundraising, with experience working for nonprofits with robust digital advocacy and fundraising programs
Knowledge of digital advocacy and fundraising best practices
Strong writing and editing skills, experience writing short and punchy direct-response advocacy and fundraising emails, the ability to adapt writing style to a pre-existing “voice,” demonstrated ability to produce copy that is clear, compelling, and motivating
Ability to work in an intense work environment, including being able to turn around a draft on a same-day basis for rapid response
Experience producing and analyzing response rate reports in Excel, possibly jointly with MzN’s Analyst
Working knowledge of eCRMs (ActionKit, Springboard, EveryAction, Luminate Online, Marketing Cloud, etc.) and their technical capabilities
Ability to take full ownership of assigned projects and ability to work independently
Possesses a sense of urgency, is self-motivated and detail-minded
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
Good verbal presentation, group dynamic, and facilitation skills
Additional language skills are a distinct advantage
