Business Development and Project Manager

We are looking for committed professionals to join our growing Management Team in Berlin, Germany and contribute to our business development as well as project management activities to support our portfolio of international development projects funded by a wide range primarily EU based donors.

Responsibilities

Candidates can look forward to regular client contact, project management, business development and offer preparation activities and working across dynamic teams.

Preparation of proposals for individual assignments;
Recruiting of experts for specific project requests;
Responsibility for day-to-day management of ongoing projects;
Contract and financial management;
Ensuring quality control of specific contract outputs;
Main point of coordination for consortium members, experts and clients.

Skills/Experience

At least one year of project management experience for donor-funded project;
Experience in preparing financial and technical offers for consulting projects;
Fully familiar with different donor-specific procurement rules related to development cooperation;
Proven track record in working with multiple stakeholders (client, consortium partners, experts);
Possess outstanding academic credentials;
Excellent negotiation skills;
Display commitment and passion for international development;
Fluent in English, with fluency in French, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus;
Positive, "can do" attitude.
