Description
The expert should have a master’s degree in project management, law, contracts/procurement, management, computer sciences or equivalent, and 10 years of general work experience. In addition, the expert should have at least 6 years of IT hardware procurement related experience in projects funded by the government of Maldives, ADB and/or other international financial institutions, preferably in the health sector. The consultant will procure required IT software and IT hardware for the digitalization of the EMS and the automation of the call center under MOH and MOF’s guidance. The procurement should only be initiated after receiving the endorsement by ADB and the government. The procurement should be carried out in a coordinated manner with other TA activities on the development of central EMS coordination mechanism which will be carried out by WHO. The consultants will prepare procurement-related documents and conduct the procurement as per ADB and the government’s request following ADB’s procurement policy and regulations. The consultants will also coordinate with relevant stakeholders on the delivery and installation of the IT hardware procured, and facilitate trainings to users on the use of such IT hardware, as per MOH’s request.
