Project title: Technical Assistance for Strengthening Training and Research Capacity of the Centre for Labour and Social Training and Research (ÇASGEM)

Brief description of the project: The purpose of this three-year EU Technical Assistance Project for “Strengthening Training and Research Capacity of the Centre for Labour and Social Training and Research (ÇASGEM)” is to strengthen the institutional capacities of ÇASGEM, relevant stakeholders, social partners and NGOs through adapting training modules in occupational rehabilitation; delivering trainings for trainers; designing virtual training scenarios; carrying out awareness-raising activities; conducting researches; and organizing study visits, workshops and seminars in the field of occupational health and safety, especially in construction, mining, chemical and metal sectors.

Intervention 10: Research on Occupational Accident Prediction Model

Position: SNKE – Expert on Occupational Accident Prediction Model

Resources: 5 Working Days

Working Period: Jun 2022 – Nov 2022

Tasks:

  • Participating in the technical meetings and in the working group meetings to discuss the plans and progress.
  • Reading and assessing of programming models and/or algorithms.
  • Assessing and reading accident statistics.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of professional experience.
  • Post graduate degree in Statistics, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Experience in comparing statistics from Eurostat and other international databases on the labour or social security issues.
  • Experienced in reading and developing algorithms on accident predictions.
  • Experience in making comparisons of international data storage methods and data patterns.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a project, research or scientific study related to the use of social security/labour data (especially in the data mining processes).

Following Qualifications would be an advantage:

  • Experience in statistical applications in Python programming or equivalent programming.
  • Experienced and qualified in OHS statistics, especially at EU (ESAW) level, would be an asset.
  • Working experience from a National Statistical organization or an accident insurance company.
