IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture, S.A.U. is looking for an National or International Expert based in Honduras with experience in preparing safeguarding mechanisms, a ‘do-no-harm’ approach or guidelines for the effective participation of vulnerable groups in projects, initiatives or planning instruments, preferably related to climate change. The qualifications to be met by the expert are as follow:
- Education/training: University degree (Master’s) in social sciences, anthropology, international cooperation, human rights.
- Language: Knowledge of Spanish to level C2 in the Common EuropeanFramework of Reference for Languages.
- General professional experience: 10 years of professional experience in preparing environmental, energy and other policies and projects from a gender equity, safeguarding and human rights perspective.
- Specific professional experience: 5 years of professional experience in preparing safeguarding mechanisms, a ‘do-no-harm’ approach or guidelines for the effective participation of vulnerable groups in projects, initiatives or planning instruments, preferably related to climate change.
- Regional experience: 6 years of professional experience in projects or initiatives for Latin American countries.
- Development cooperation experience: 4 years of experience in development cooperation projects
