GOPA Infra is searching for a Team Leader for an AfDB-financed project Procurement of: Project Management Consultancy Services (IRSUE-Luxor)

Task description

The tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the PMCF team, including serving as the focal point for all PMCF activities and being responsible for coordinating /delivering/reporting all PMCF activities and outputs.
• Overall management and coordination of the Program in collaboration with the PMU and lead development of program management tools covering the Program management. implementation and annual work plans including the oversi ht or the ISC and contractors procured by WSC.
• Develop and follow up Program construction/procurement/investment plans.
• Provide the detailed progress reports for all the program activities.
• Develop the Program Operations Manual (POM).
• Develop the different required plans i.e. OHS plan; ESMP; QA/QC plan; PMP RMP, Citizen Engagement plan, etc.
• Monitor events as determined in the Program monitoring schedule plan, and update the plan as required.
• Maintain a documentation for each contract , which will include among others the variations, amendments, and payment schedules and any other relevant work support the achievements or the Program targets.

Qualifications

• Local senior level professional expert with a civil engineering background and more than 20 years´experience, 15 years of which in similar assignments in the wastewater sector and must have acted as team leader on the last previous project.
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Experience in management and administration
• Experience in designing and executing public infrastructure works: development of water and wastewater working plans; project and financial management and leading and managing large multi-disciplinary teams.
