Are you a skilled human services manager with a desire to make a difference and contribute to ending homelessness in Edmonton? Are you a pro-active community builder experienced in leading change through a person-centered approach? Do you enjoy leading a diverse team through a transformation as they innovate, improve and develop solutions for people who are facing complex challenges?

As Program Manager, you will oversee four different transitional housing sites supporting individuals with complex addictions and mental health needs. You will respond to emergent needs within the community, provide practical leadership and guide the program through a transformational process.

e4c Transitional Housing Program sites include:

e4c Inner Way: This program offers a safe place to build life skills and wellness in preparation for transitioning to stable housing consisting of two sites with five residents each who are able to stay for up to three months within a community setting.
e4c Emerging Adults: This program offers intentional programming and welcoming space for young adults who are on their journeys of transitioning from young adulthood to independence. Five residents are able to stay for several months in accordance with their transition plan.
e4c Complex Health Women’s Housing: This program offers a safe haven for ten women who may be experiencing addictions, mental illness and complex health needs to build life skills and engage in wellness opportunities according to their journeys.

What you bring to the team:

You bring 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, including mentorship, program management, project start-up, expansion, and innovation in a related field.
You possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human service, or a related field.
Registered Social Work and/or other related professional designations is an asset.
You have an excellent working knowledge of program management in a nonprofit environment and can demonstrate budgetary management, implementing accreditation standards, and meeting contractual requirements.
You are known for problem-solving, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
You have experience leading program change and projects that lead to lasting growth and transformation.
You have a proven ability to foster a team environment and provide reflective supervision to team members.
You support the practices and principles of harm reduction, person-centered, trauma-informed, relational based approach, and strength-based care.
You bring intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365.

Important work you will do at e4c:

You will develop and manage the program operational cycle and plan service delivery to achieve program goals and outcomes.
You will assess the current infrastructure and framework of the Transitional Housing Program and ensure a sustainable and effective program.
You will develop relationships and connections within the community to improve services for the person served.
You will work in a collaborative partnership and use a relational and holistic approach to build a multi-disciplinary team that is recruited and onboarded in alignment with the vision of e4c.
You will mentor and coach the Transitional Housing team through a variety of situations and provide debriefing and support as required.
