Experts for a Project Opportunity to Promote Employment and Entrepreneurship in Turkana West, Kenya

We are looking for long-term experts for a project opportunity in Kenya (awaiting shortlist) with the following profiles:

Team Leader based in Kakuma, Kenya 

• University qualification (equivalent of Master) in social sciences or economics or business administration or similar
• Good business language skills in English and German
• 10 years of experience in the Sustainable Economic Development sector
• 7 years in technical and vocational education and training (TVET)
• 5 years of management/ leadership experience as project team leader or manager in a company
• 5 years of work experience in Sub Saharan Africa (region), of which 2 years in projects in East Africa
• 5 years of experience in Development Cooperation projects
• 4 years of experience in fragile contexts; 4 years of experience in financial management of substantial local subsidies

Key Expert 1 with national experience based in Kakuma, Kenya 

• University qualification (equivalent to German ‘Diplom’/ Master) in social sciences/ human resources development, or similar
• English and other native languages(e.g.: Kiswahili)
• 5 years of working experience in fragile context
• 5 years of professional experience in TVET
• 5 years of experience in Development Cooperation

Key Expert 2 with national experience based in Kakuma, Kenya

• University qualification (equivalent to German ‘Diplom’/ Master) in social sciences/ human resources development, or similar
• English and other native languages (e.g. Kiswahili)
• 5 years of working experience in fragile context
• 5 years of professional experience in TVET
• 5 years of experience in Development Cooperation

Key Expert 3 with national experience based in Kakuma, Kenya 

• University qualification (equivalent to German ‘Diplom’/ Master) in social sciences/ human resources development, or similar
• English and other native languages (e.g.: Kiswahili)
• 5 years of working experience in fragile context
• 5 years of professional experience in TVET
• 3 years of work experience in life skills programmes
• 5 years of experience in Development Cooperation
