We are looking for you to work in Maputo / Mozambique:

Economist in the Area of Extractive Industries and Public Finance (m/f/d)
as Integrated Expert

We are looking for you:
The Centro de Integridade Publica (CIP) needs your expertise to produce analyses and publications on the extractive industries. The civil society organisation, which was founded in 2005, regularly publishes critical analyses and studies on political issues and organises information events and debates in the media. CIP joined Transparency International (TI) in 2011. The organisation's guiding principles are integrity, transparency, anti-corruption and good governance.

Your tasks will involve:

  • Conducting quality assurance of analyses and publications in this field
  • Further developing and expanding the international network
  • Contributing to position papers
  • Training staff in selected areas in this field
  • Supporting the director in addressing questions on economics-related issues

Your profile:

  • University-level degree in economics or another qualification that enables you to carry out the work
  • Many years of experience in the area of extractive industries and public finance
  • Ideally experience in the region
  • Very good Portuguese and English skills
